How to Make A DIY Hot Cocoa Bar
Hot cocoa is one of the best things about cooler weather. We love treating ourselves to a hot cup after being outside or to have in hand while driving around looking at Christmas lights. We love hot cocoa in our family, but do not love all of the extra ingredients in those little packets in the store bought brands. It is very easy, and so much better tasting and better for you to make your own! One of our favorite Christmas and holiday traditions is having our neighbors over for a hot cocoa bar. In this post you will learn how to make a DIY hot cocoa bar. You can get as creative with this as you like. Kids and adults alike will love choosing the toppings for their cocoa!

To make the hot cocoa, you will need:
10 cups of milk of choice
3 cups of chocolate chips (I use Pascha brand because it is super clean and sunflower free)
1 tsp vanilla or extract of choice (amaretto and butterscotch are delicious as well)
1 tsp cinnamon
put all ingredients in your slow cooker and cook 2 hours on low
Toppings to have on your bar…
mini Candy Canes (I get dye free candy canes)
- If you are doing an adult party – Baileys is really good in hot cocoa – try it!
